1 Vanderbilt Avenue / One Vanderbilt
Adjacent to Grand Central Terminal, and rising like a phoenix, is the currently under construction 1 Vanderbilt Avenue, also known as One Vanderbilt. Construction of the striking 1,401 foot tall, 73-story, Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates designed tower, is ahead of schedule and expected to be complete before the end of 2020. Bounded by Madison and Vanderbilt Avenues between 42nd and 43rd Streets, upon completion, One Vanderbilt will be the tallest office tower in midtown Manhattan, a striking beacon in the heart of the city.
Tenants who will soon be calling One Vanderbilt home include The Carlyle Group, TD Securities, MFA Financial and DZ and DVB Banks.
Full floor availabilities of 23,000 rentable square feet are in the building’s mid rise and tower. These column free floors feature stunning 360-degree views through floor-to-ceiling windows and feature high slab-to-slab ceiling heights ranging from 14’6” – 24’.
Building features and amenities include a 30,000 square foot tenant-only amenity floor with a state-of-the art auditorium, 30-seat boardroom, hotel style social space, expansive and landscaped outdoor terrace overlooking the outdoor plaza and world class dining by renowned Chef Daniel Boulud. The building will also feature direct access to Grand Central Terminal through a secure transit hall and an eventual direct connection to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), once East Side Access is complete.
