44 Union Square East
Originally opened in 1929 as the offices for the Tammany Society political organization, the landmarked neo-Georgian building, with its classic red brick and limestone facade, has.been newly rechristened as 44 Union Square East. Located on the east side of Union Square, between 16th and 17th Streets, 44 Union Square East is a landmark redevelopment and 2017 AIA design award winner.
The building’s interiors have been completely rethought and reconfigured, with open floor plates to accommodate the requirements of today’s modern working environments.
Availabilities include the entire 15,029 rentable square foot 3rd floor with ceiling heights up to 12’6”, the entire 15,058 rentable square foot 4th floor with a 12’ ceiling height, the 8,575 rentable square foot 5th floor with 12’ – 21’ ceiling heights and the truly one-of-a-kind, glass-domed (whose humped shape is inspired by the turtle upon which Lenape Chief Tamanend, Tammany Hall’s namesake, stands in a famous likeness), light-filled 6th and top floor of 4,444 rentable square feet with a 19’ ceiling height and soaring views overlooking Union Square.
